Your hosts are Michelle and Marco. Marco is an architect and Michelle is a chef. Between them, they speak fluent English, Italian and Afrikaans.

We booked to stay at the Casa Ridge guest house for Festive season on peak season and at booked dates,we were lucky to secure a room. The guest house is situated at a convenient place in Umhlanga which made it easy for us to travel back and forth to the guest house. The rooms are so spacious and are 5 star standard, modern decor with a twist of a regal feel, cosy and relaxed. Everything we needed was organized for us. We also Enjoyed the swimming pool while staying there. Was a great memorable stay,we will definitely come back again. Ada
A five-minute stroll from Casa Ridge allows you to sit on Eastmoor Beach, whilst a two minute drive takes you to Umhlanga's Blue Flag bathing beach, which hosts dolphin viewing, ski-boating, snorkelling, scuba diving, the main beach promenade walk as well as rock and surf angling. A variety of quality shops and supermarkets, as well as over 50 top class eating houses and restaurants, La Lucia Mall shopping centre, the Gateway Theatre of Entertainment. Within 15 minutes you have Durban bathing beaches, the Harbour, ski-boat and Vetchies protected beach, Durban sightseeing, Moses Mabida Stadium, Golf courses and sporting grounds. If you go a little futher, you have access to the stunning North Coast of KZN, including Umdloti, Ballito, Salt Rock, Blythedale Beach, Zinkwazi, Mthunzini and the Heritage Site of ST Lucia and Cape Vidal. Numerous game reserves including the BIG FIVE.
Marco and Michelle have been married since 1992. They have lived all their
lives in Durban and Umhlanga Rocks.
Marco is a first generation Italian
and architect. His passion is the sea, ski boating, paddle-ski, angling and
diving.
Michelle is a chef who specializes in Italian and sea-food
cuisine. Her passions are her family, painting and her home.
They are
well traveled and enjoy their lives to the fullest and gracefully await to
meet you.
